good gay traffic?

Ok, I have read a ton of posts in this forum about people asking where the best sites to buy traffic is. But the response to all these posts seem to be a bunch of refferal links. It makes me wonder if they are really good sources of traffic or if people have no clue if it's good or not and just tring to make a quick buck.

So my question is, where is a good place to buy gay traffic that YOU have personaly used and like? I'm looking to buy gay traffic for a non-porn site i'm working on. I don't care where the traffic comes from as long as it's gay men, thanks.

Yahoo, Google, Overture.

Most other places really are over-priced for what is delivered, at least that has been my experience so far.

Yahoo and Google are a little pricey for me as they use the bidding system for keywords. Most of the keywords that apply to my site are going for around a 80 cents to a $1 a pop, give or take. Since my sites are basicly free I would loose to much money. Only about 5% of my traffic converts to affilate sales. So I need to keep under 10 cents a click to see any return on investment.

Then you are doing something wrong.

You can bid on keywords priced at $0.10 per click and still make the same level of traffic as if you bid on less keywords at $0.80 a click using the PPC engines.

Maybe your right Lee, I'm not all that informed on how addwords and such works. I guess I should read into it more. I have a $50 credit for them from my hosting account.

You might want to get in touch with Basschick or Xstr8guy, they both do PPC stuff from time to time so im sure they could offer you some additional advice
