Geez... V for Vendetta is in my top 10 movies ever.
Jasun Mark. Crass of the Titans.
Lee I'd like to know what movies you like, so I can get a feel for your taste. I admit I've been afraid to rent V for Vendetta because I figured I'd name it in a likewise fasion . Silent Hill looked like crap because well... Most movies based solely on video games are crap
You know, i dont really have a 'type' of movie i like, i think the most recent ones i watched i liked that stand out were Freedomland, Benchwarmers (Because it was just mind numbing and you didnt need to pay attention to a 'plot'), Inside Man was pretty good, Poseidon was just 'ok' (again because its your typical mind numbing predicatable movie), TransAmerica i liked also.
IMHO, you cant beat the classics, Casablanca, Maltese Falcon, Great Escape, Mockingbird, Dorian Grey, etc etc...

Lee
I enjoyed V for Vendetta, and I did not even have to take anything to make me like it.
As for S for Silent Hill - yah, th@ does look somewhat P_U'ish.
I guess the fine art of make horror films is a forgotten one. Just ask the MidNight Sham (yes, I know he did not make 'S'). He IS the leading purveyor of putrid films th@ he calls thrillers, or worse ... horror(?). Has to be THE most over rated and over anticipated director, ever!
Want to see a truly great film?
If hell'z yah, says you, I suggest to you to rent, buy, acquire or liberate
Hoodwinked - The Turth About Little Red Riding Hood.
I laughed and laughed and laughed.
My favourite character, BTW, is the photographer!
