I always knew that my darker sites with blacks & burgundy base colors seemed more popular but I also had kinkier stuff on these darker sites so never thought too much about it.

Well I have to say...the surfers agree.

With changing the colors on A r m p i t s.com my conversions have increased dramatically (its been changed now for 2 weeks so stats are pretty acurate)
So today I switched my members area over to the new colors too.

I have the same experience as you. But I hate that it's probably true. I love the white/silver/grey pallet so much I almost never want to use dark colors anymore.

this is 100% true and been mentioned many times over the years. who knows why we do the things we do. im with xstraight guy, dont like it but what can you do?

I wonder how this affects us as affiliates. I have this site that I wish to promote where the tour uses a pallette of pinks (yes, pinks ). With common wisdom being that you should set your color palette to match that of your sponsor - should I go with dark or with the pinks?
