Do You Mind When Sponsors Send Weekly Emails...

About their new FHGs, Free Sites and other promo tools?

It seems im starting to get more and more of these types of email over the past 3-6 months than i used to before and im wondering if affiliates actually mind receiving them or not?

If it is of use to affiliates then i think i may start doing a weekly email letting my affiliates on Condom Cash know what is new with the program, etc.

Your thoughts, as an affiliate, are these types of email of benefit to you or do you regard them as friendly spam?

I like emails when they add a new exclusive model and give me a brief description of the model. Then I know what blog(s) to write about it. Beyond that I don't care that much....

no i don't, it actually reminds me of said sponsor so i go and take another look

No, I love them, especially if I'm getting content. In my world, the sponsors would bug me get promoted. The ones who are silent, I forget about.

Some go overboard. One sponsor sends out an email every time one of their models farts. I get about three or four a week, that's excessive.

speaking as a sponsor who is right now working on his weekly newsletter I have to say the reason we put them out is because we want our affiliates to know when we add or change something and to 'hand deliver' them the newest FHGs and HFSs. [severing tongue to avoid being spammy!]

I like to hear what new marketing materials are available from my sponsors. It helps me to decide what to promote next and where to promote it. Weekly frequency is about as often as I'd want the emails to be..
