Do You Prefer Raised Payouts Or 'Prizes'?

When it comes to sponsors offering incentives to promote their programs, are you more likely to send more traffic with raised payouts, or if you will be sent some kind of 'prize' for making sales?

Does it really matter to you at all?

If you were given a choice between raised payouts or gifts, what would you prefer sponsors to offer as an incentive?

Raised payouts, as it would be for everyone, the big, the medium, and the small... so more attractive to those who struggle with affiliate marketing.

Prizes seem to be geared to the big sellers more, leaving the little guy out, adding to their 'i'll get around to pushing them later' mantra.

But hey, ideally I'd like to see a site that has better conversion with more of everything, all done in the best possible manner, such as High Res pics, videos, and not overblown free crap floating around, but hey, I do a lot of dreaming while typing too...

Seriously, higher payouts if a choice.

Most often I see that raised payouts are for a certain day or weekend that do not fit into our ad schedules.

Raised payouts are more of an incentive. mo' money, mo' money, mo' money...not some trinket that many of us will not even want.

are you talking about bonus days when you say raised payouts or permanently raised payouts? 'cause i don't see perm raised payouts and prizes as being the same situation unless you're talking about a reward points situation.
