Like is there a way to know if you need to get a new one because the old one drains to quickly or something?

The laptop battery life i have now is only lasting me about an hour and a half at a time before i have to plug in to the mains and recharge it, ive only really started using the laptop on the battery a lot in the past couple of months so dont know if this is good or bad?
