i don't get this way often, but i feel really lousy. it's mostly about work, people i work with, money, and adjusting goals. i'm having a lot of trouble coping with this feeling - what do YOU do when you feel really depressed?

For me, music is what I usually turn to. Any type that fits the mood I'm in. If I can I like to put the headphones on (not the little ear plugs)so I can JUST hear the music and nothing else.Originally posted by basschick

I find if I just hang out with an old friend for a day or two and talk or do whatever...the next thing I know, I feel better...
I usually have work, money, partner, building my house issues that really bring me down. So, I step away from it for awhile and it helps.
Feel better soon...remember, it'll pass.
It'll change...always does.
The one thing we can count on is change.
This may sound crude, but it's not meant to be.
Have sex! :extat:
could it be new year blues bass chick?
I always get wierd this time of year - i think for me it has something to do with the expectations we put on ourselves for the new year and thinking about what we said we'd do the last year and didn't ....
vitamin B helps ;-)
hope you feel better soon - just ride the wave & know it will pass ...
Hey basschick!
I totally understand where you're coming from. I get the same way about business and money and people this time fo year.
Fortunately, for me getting away from the house/office is key. Going to the Vegas show usually snaps me out of it a bit (that's not an endorsement LOL) it's the escape from here that helps me.
I'm double dittoing Bell, too. A lot of what you need to do is to step away - in some fashion. Somehow things become clearer when I do that.
Oh!!!! And, if you live with your business partner like I do, tell them to fuck off when you're trying to regenerate and all they want to talk about are stats!!! It's not easy but it has to be done, whether they get it or not LOL
Fell better, babe.

Play with it and watch it GROW!
Actually when i'm depressed, i make it worse by listening very very sad songs LOL i'm a psycho.
Enough said
I find that just hanging out with good friends always makes me feel better. Also maybe just go out and pamper yourself with new clothes and maybe a massage or something. Hope that helps.

in order to realize my goals, i have a LOT of harder work ahead of me than i ever planned or expected - following months of unrelenting work. hopefully i'll pull it off, and will be able to say "see? it was all worth it" around march.
>hopefully i'll pull it off
