What are your thoughts on Apple stock right now? They seem to have fluctuated a fair amount in the past 12 months and im wondering if now would be the right time to jump on board with this while it is still at 50% of its 52 week range value?

I bought both Apple and Adobe stocks recently as I believe in their products long term. I'm not looking to make a short term gain, I can afford to wait and sit on them for awhile. Buy what you know and what you believe in.
Well i have total confidence in Apple the problem is, right now, they havent really released any news about their new product lines other than some software, typically by now companies such as Apple will have already started hyping up their latest offerings for the coming couple of years but as of yet, nothing, all we've heard is that Steve Jobs has some curable illness.

You should put your surplus cash in a FDIC insured account, and invest the rest in yourself, your business, your ability to self sustain.

In this market I'm staying with quality stocks beaten down but paying good dividends.
I don't expect to see any real life in the market.
With Apple stock it all depends on the product line and new innovations. I for one want to see the AT&T deal expire with the Iphone. I think they could sell even more of them than they do now.
I know I'm waiting till at least Iphone 4 this last one wasn't really that much improvement
I'm really shocked that anyone even invests in the market still. With all of the manipulation, stealing, fraud and let's not forget the fact that the White House has a direct line to the chair of the S.E.C, why risk it?
Besides the whole Madoff thing has proven that our stock market is quite literally a sham. Everyone's investments (the money portion) are gone, it's now just some numbers on paper that a bunch of unscrupulous assholes manipulate.
It won't matter really once they convert our money to Ameros. Everyone's investments will simply disappear, the rich will get bailouts and the rest of us nothing.
