Copenhagen Suborbitals, a non-profit Danish company, celebrated success on Friday after launching its single-person rocket which cost it only ~$69K USD. They hope to eventually fly a human on a suborbital flight to space using a beefed-up version of the rocket, which is just big enough for one person.

I love seeing these types of advances! It gives me hope that one day we will be living in outer space, flying our own personal rockets!
