Ban anyone that makes a post.
Im not really understanding the 'business' thinking behind this but it sounds like it could be fun.
Anyone want to play along? LOL

Okay so what did I miss? Who got banned and where this time? :kickcan:
At GMS... AGAIN!
This is REALLY getting out of hand.
Never mind I figured it out. :signhere:
Give it another week over there, and there won't be anyone left to post at the rate they are banning people. :shitpoke:
And I heard from one of the 7 people that still posts there that JP posted another of his sophisticated, erudite soliloquies a couple of days ago, talking about how GWW would be long gone, and GMS would be the only board left standing in the long term, or something like that.
I do think that when common sense, or business sense, or both, returns to Mark's consciousness, that JP might be correct about the GMS being around in the long term... but not for the reason that he assumes.
As for GWW... i think the jury's already read the verdict on that one. But as I've said before, I hope that both communities survive, as that's better for the webmaster community as a whole in the long run.
Fuck.
I go away to shoot a few movies, come back and the whole world has fallen apart without me.
Is it too much to ask that you just try to hold it together without a baby sitter?
Jasun,
I will reply tomorrow to your post. It's not just a babysitter issue. It's unfortunate that MANY don't see what is really going on. Hell, all the threads that show what really is going on have been deleted.
About the only thing that is certain is when I hit "submit reply" now is that I wont get a message "the thread no longer exists". On GMS I replied to the same thread two times only to have that message. The second time after an icq conversation with Mark promising and agreeing that threads should not be deleted at will.
p.s. See. When I hit submit the thread was not deleted! Amazing!
meh.
I've found that I'm a hell of a lot happier if I just do my gig, keep visibility up for Fratmen, try not to get involved in flame wars or drama or politics (I don't always succeed with that because of my Newfie heritage that loves to argue) and ignore al the backroom stuff.
I know zero about what's really going on anywhere and I care a lot less.
Just like xTube, I don't wanna make a big issue about much... I'll just let people run their business how they want to and let it either fly or not.
Hey, just like all Fratboys, I just wanna chill and have some fun.
If I need to argue, I'll stop buying as much beer for the Fratmen on shoots.
