Nice looking site, was really easy to navigate which you don't find too often either... so not sure why you aren't getting submissions. (i did add mine though, if that's any help)
How have you been marketing it? I mean if you are getting 60k visitors.. is that unique hits or what?
I notice that the links are all coded links, least they look that way, have you maybe considered hard link trades so that you can gain PR and then offer that as an inducement to webmasters?

I though about that but I am waiting to the site gets a little more busier. Right now most of the links I have added them myself.

No problem, one suggestion though, you might like to include on the 'add a link' page your recip info so webmasters can add you to their pages? I mean that will help in both traffic and in getting other webmasters to submit... i couldn't find any such info so if you would PM me the info I'll get it onto my own site at my next update...

You need to post that site to webmasters number 1. Not yahoo groups. I see your links there all the time. They are always "I'm 25, latino, looking for _______". Granted, that is a traffic source, however, I have learned that it is NOT something that you can count on for submissions to something like that. (We own similar sites.)
So maybe your traffic is looking for guy(s) instead of wanting to post in a directory for traffic? 2 different things.
Another thing, maybe the girls in the banners? I saw them and had to stop for a second. If I'm looking for gay sites, and I see tits, I normally close the window. Unless it is something that really catches my eye. I click on your logo and I’m sent to some lesbian site.
My advice would be to move that directory to another domain name, clean up the layout a little, and market it (for now) to site owner’s for link trades, and marketing the SEARCH FEATURE to your personal ad site and other places that you can pick up surfer traffic. The idea behind both the personals and directory are good, just presented a little off and to the wrong traffic sources.

Oh yea! I have some really hot hosted gallries that might work great for the traffic base you have for your personal ads. Hit me up on icq or Pm and I'll give some info about everything. (we might can trade some traffic also.)

andymike is right -- to ispire webmaster confidence the directory really needs its own domain. And it needs to be marketed as a directory.
The directory needs to be listed at webmaster resource sites and directories; both adult and non-adult.
The girl banners have to go as they confuse the theme of the site.
Make it more evident that it is a "Gay Directory".
Add some more sites yourself -- people like to submit to directories where there's lots of other sites already and surfers don't really like surfing sparce directories -- part of the inspiring confidence thing.
Cheers, robin.

Is the site listed on any resource sites presently? That will get you a load of new submissions the downside to that however, is that you will also have to add links to the resource sites which, depending on where you are asked to 'recip' can become a traffic leak.
