how are going your sales in august?
Its right after a show, its going to be a couple of days before the processors turn the scrub off.
Regards,

Funny you should ask, yesterday was the best day ever for us.
I always use the summer slowdown period to try new techniques and this year, its been the most successful ever!
:( no sale for me in august :(
Very slow until now.. I thought July was bad, bad August seems to become worse.. Guess it's time to take a break and going on a holiday :)
our sales are VERY good - must be all of the personal appearances we've been making and all the HARD work we've put into our site...
This august our new launched site http://www.freddy18.com converts really good, we were very suprised about it. Lots of our affiliates thanked us about this new site.
So if your links or reviewed sites does not bring much money this month, try out http://www.freddy18.com
Just use one of our best converting banner to promote Freddy18.com:

Happy promoting! :-)
July was a slump month for LiveCamNetwork.com. We're not a gay site, though 2much our parent company does run a couple - but August sales have been better in the first ten days than they were in the first ten days of July - so it's looking better and better for us for the summer so far.
It's tough to measure time in days or weeks...
But the recent stock market activity is sobering.
Just after record gas prices started to fall, so does the stock market, for unreleated reasons/causes!
It is possible that some of our customers of the past couple of years, did the ReFi thing every year or so and used the cash for recreational pursuits like buy DVDs and watch PPV minutes. With the collapsing credit market, some of that honey pot is drying up - and with it, some of our customers.
Other more conservative customers might be seeing their net worth tumble as does the market. I'm just glad my assets are in my intellectual property, not Wall Street properties.
Seasons, holidays, CC scrubbing, all factor in.
Our sales are definitely all over the place this summer -- one week we're breaking our all-time best records, the next we're in the dumpster. This week has been particularly strange as far as sign-ups are concerned with wild fluctuations day-by-day. So far we've been holding our own overall, but the summer's not over...
nickbaer, you are right about the days/weeks measurements. I do stats rollups for all my stuff at the end of every month and look at the overall trends. It makes life a lot easier when you see that overall, trends are vey positive, even if you do have the occasional bad weekend or few days.
Our hits are lower so far this month, but our ratio is even better. So I guess its still all good.

Out of the last 12 days the 1st and the 8th were down for me, the rest were up.
July i did 10% more turnover on June, august i did 15% more than July - which is weird becouse i was expecting a slow down.
August is going strong but there definitely was a couple days that were slower than normal. The weekends have been very strong sales.
