GEOIP - Do you use it?

We use it on our site so that the currency is in the surfers local currency, it works great and we think our non-US sales have gone up by 30%, people seeing in only USD get very put off

I strongly suggest all programs use it

I've never used GeoIP I'll look into it.. sounds great! I use Verotel and they have the country related pricing come up automatically.. maybe they use GeoIP on their backend?

I need to ad that I haven't activated this part of my service with Verotel because I just didn't think it was that big a deal.. but maybe now I will. You can charge different countries different prices too.. sounds interesting :extat:

This whole recent GEO::IP craze in the adult industry amazes me, it really does.

Geotargetting has been around for at least 6-7 years and, those of us who started utilizing geo ip technologies around that time realized its potential and profited from it.

Unfortunately, these days geo ip, whilst it does have some uses, doesnt do half as well as it did even 12 months ago.

This really was one boat the industry missed.. big time.
