What's a good file size for sample videos?

What's a good file size for sample videos? Both Hi Res and Low Res?

File size.. I'm thinking right around 1meg is good.. though I've seen some sites with 2megs for previews.

What do you think?

depends on the size and lenghth - 2MB is good me thinks for a 320x240 with low quality sound
