Has your IP been blocked by Alexa?

Mine has. When I type in http://www.alexa.com I get this message:

One or more errors occurred while processing your request:

You may only use this form to unblock requests once. Please contact customer service at pages.alexa.com/help/contacthelp.html and be sure to include your IP Address: (my IP address)

I go there about once a month, do a search on 10 or so sites, then leave.

Anyone have an idea what's going on here? Are they blocking out of U.S. IP addys?

Well I have never received anything like that. But I wouldn't see it as too much of a negative, since Alexa is about as valuable as a hundred shares of Worldcom stock.

Yeah true, but it has some use. I'm more taken with being blocked for no reason lol Stange nobody else has responded on GWW to this thread. I tried anonymous surfing to the site and was let in, but stats on it were down. (sigh) oh well :francais:

I think this has something to do with me uninstalling their toolbar.

Im not blocked either, although ive never used their toolbar so perhaps that you uninstalled it pissed them off LOL
