Feedback and submissions needed :)

Just getting ready to build a small TGP.

It's not finished yet, a few things still needs to be done however the sooner I ask for feedback the less work it is to react on that.

The two main things that needs to be done that are not needed to say for feedback are:
1.) Replace the "link text" all around with actual Links and stuff
2.) Better organize the categories --> I will add a few more and combine other and order them thematically

So far I just added a couple of Latina galleries just to test whether the script is working fine (which it does) so if you have galleries submit them here:

Not bad, but it is a bit disconjoined (is that a word??!) For instance, the first set of thumbs is free floating with the banner on the side, then the second set + banner is boxed in. Also the checked background is not consistantly used. Little things like that make it seem like it is not tied together properly. Maybe it just needs a very slight patterned background to tie it all together? Or maybe a table around the whole page or at least around all the gallery listing boxes like you have done with the top.

I assume you will be using text links in your gallery listing boxes? Text links help bring up your s.e. rankings.

Wait for others to comment then make sure to post when you have made the changes so we can all check it out!

Thx for the feedback. There's a few things on my list I still need to do. I'll have put your points also on my list. I will get to those later today.

WS, I think Luke's design suggestions could improve the look and feel of the web page.

I like the way the page looks in the bottom half. At the top of the page I feel bombarded by too many advertisements: the banners, the fav links, the top lists. If I were surfing this page, I'd just quickly scroll down to the first set of picture/content links, and you'd miss your chance for me to notice those advertisements.

You could move the thumbnail/content tables higher up on the page. Or it may be more effective to do something like this after your top headers:
Column of links or vertical banner + thumbnail/content td's
Horizontal banner
Thumbnail/content td's + column of links or vertical banner
Horizontal banner
Column of links or vertical banner + thumbnail/content td's, etc.
That way your advertisements are more likely to get noticed.

I actually wanted to "finish" it yesterday but there has been some more important issue coming up. I have to see whether I get today a chance to work on it.
