Where several people are suing them for trying to copy protect CD's do you think this would have any bearing on the adult industry?
Im thinking specifically along the lines of DRM technologies whereby once you buy access to content, you need to continue paying for it so you can continue watching it.
What are your folks thoughts on this?

my impression is that the lawsuits are mostly about the invasive nature of the DRM technology they used, the fact it installed something that couldn't be removed, and that the installed thing created a vulnerability that opened up your computer to virii and exploits by hackers.
As such, I don't think it has any effect on, for example, Windows Media DRM, as that's a standard part of Windows.
Somebody could, and perhaps should, bring suit or something to stop the erosion of fair use rights to intellectual property, but as far as I know, that's a completely different issue than what's going on here.
