Your favorite swag

Okay, kids. As much as you don't want to admit it, we all love swag. Some of us are closeted about it, but come on, who hasn't grabbed a lighter from a table and found it very useful later on in the evening when someone needed a light? Or that pad of paper and pen that you just happened to find in your bag might have come in handy if you were in a rush to get someone's ICQ or email address (or phone number). So spill it, what is your favorite piece of swag.

I must say, my fav was the badge holder that held a notepad and pockets for business cards.

That one was pretty awesome, Mike, and I saw that you wore yours like a badge of honor. Mine was the Cybersocket notebook and pen combination. Even though the pens were CRAP, the notebook itself (with the business card folder) was BRILLIANT! It made my week SO much easier. At the end of the show, there was a box left behind with tons of those notebooks in them. You can bet I took several of them out to bring home with me!

GayMalePass.com did one as well, but I forgot to take one home with me from the Cybersocket awards.

My 2nd favorite was the Badpuppy cum towel. I wore mine out to the bars on Friday (we went to Badlands and the Eagle), and it was a big hit! I AM a bad puppy after all! :)

And who doesn't like to admit to loving swag? Gift bags are the light of my life! :)

I liked the pen and pad but I couldn't get the pen out of the little piece of stretchy material that held it to the pad. I got so frustrated I ended up just tearing it off. LOL!

Oh yeah, loved the cum towel. I still have one from my last Vegas trip. My parents were drying the dishes with it when they came to visit. Ugh.

There was a trick to getting the pen out. You had to turn it around so that the pen clip was facing into the notebook, then it just slid right out. Nimwit! LOL! :)

Wow, I wish someone would have told me that before I tore the damned thing to pieces. LOL! Oh well, I still have the pad, which is pretty nifty. I'll have to be more carefull next time. LOL!

THe Naked Sword pads with the gel pen.. I liked the Eggs with SIlly Puddy, but I can't remeber who was giving them out.

I got some fun T-shirts and about 50 condoms and 30 tubes of lube in different types. I also got about 10 t-shirts, which will all be worn in the morning a few times and then thrown out. They insist on giving XXL shirts when hardly anyone is that.. um.. size.

We were giving out full length DVDs... but nobody else was giving away anything like that. I mean, is it worth so much you can't hand out one movie to the masses? One company was giving out a DVD that only had jpg files of the box covers. eek.

AVN had lots of freebies.. mostly lube and condoms, but hangover pills, "Male enhancement" pills (like two of those would work...), evergy pills, sex vitamins...

things like flashlights are totally useless.. nobody ever uses those little keychain ones.

We couldn't give our CorbinFisher hackeysacks away fast enough. At the booth, there was nonstop traffic to come and get them. People saying they saw someone else with one earlier in the day so had to seek us out and get oen for themselves. The hackeysacks and the t-shirts went like hotcakes.

I avoided doing pens this year because there are a billion people already doing them, avoided lighters because everyone has to fly home after the show and they'll most likely end up having to throw them away anyways, and decided out schwag would be fun, collegiate-themed schwag. Actually, our little pennants weren't intended as schwag but people snatched them up anyways. They were more meant to be a branded flyer type thing. And I look back fondly upon my days of playing hack in the quad in college. hehe.

I was extremely glad our stuff was so popular and sought after, because that means I didn't have to cart it all back with me on the plane! hehe.

Otherwise, I really liked the PrideBucks badgeholder thingy. It was really really neat. Though as much as I love PrideBucks, I couldn't actually go around wearing it and using it... with another company's logo splashed across me like that. hehe. But I still thought it was a really neat little thing.

There is some useful stuff, and then some crap. I definitely use the chapstick and the lighters [I drove there and back :-) so no airport security ] and the notepads and pens are a good idea. Personally I want blue pens!! I never use black anymore because a photocopy of black ink looks like original black ink, but I am jsut nitpicky that way...
I like the shirts and I would wear them if they came in smaller sizes. I am not ashamed to ask for a Small--I do not fit into a Large, XL, XXL, and even a Medium kind of hangs on my scrawny frame.

Um, why not? Personally, I think it makes each company look even COOLER to promote others. Shows you're not just out for yourself. :)

Not their logo. Put Harlan's face on it and I'll wear it here at home to the grocery store and all over town.
