Eggs Benedict... mmmm!
Peppermill has them on the menu.

Peppermill was featured in the movie "Casino". It's a great casual place just up the Strip from the Sahara.
I'll join you for breakfast next time in Vegas!

Speaking of Denny's.... after days of elaborate buffet feasts at the Wynn and Mirage, on Monday we ate lunch at that Denny's on the Strip there at the Casino Royale.... just down from the Venetian. It was nice to escape from Disneyland for a bit.
After the show ended, I took Pickles downtown, where we had a great time. I won $240 playing a dollar slot machine. (which helped compensate for my expensive experiments at the Venetian earlier in the week) And then played $5 blackjack at Main Street Station and $5 mini baccarat at Binions. If you guys like to play blackjack, the rules are better down there. (Double deck, pays 3/2 on a Blackjack) Later this year when I get some free room mailers fron MSS, I'm going to take my parents there for a vacation. Maybe we can catch Bob Newhart or Barry Manilow too :kitten:

I know you weren't asking for casinos/hotels but as an aside, I ordered some eggs benedict from the Venetian insuite dining one of the nights I was there and let's just say the hollandaise sauce wasn't the only tasty cream that meal brought about. I just about creamed my pants when I took a bite, that's how yummy they were.
As much as English cuisine is made fun of, you guys did contribute the muffin to eggs benedict. And for that, the world is forever greatful.
Well the Brits have to make up for other famously bland delicacies like Yorkshire Pudding....
Eggs Benedict is good. Now here in Austin we have Trudy's which makes a very tasty dish called "Mexican Eggs Benedict." Instead of hollendaise sauce, they pour queso on it. And Trudy's queso is not your crappy melted velveeta... but really really good.
And on the side they have refried beans and fried potatos. With corn or flour tortillas. It's a good little breakfast.

And I'm sorry about that! We had best intentions to attend the GWW Party on Friday night. That was what I'd scheduled. But after dinner and drinks at Outback, the group decided to split up and do other stuff. The bf and I ended up back at Flamingo on the blackjack tables where we proceeded to lose our shirts. Josh/Drew took our cute waiter to the Venetian Party. The rest scattered. So it was a bust... but we had to leave Saturday morning anyway so all the GWW Party would have done was give me a hangover. But I really wanted that hangover! Damn it. So I'll owe you one.Quote:
