Hey all,
I have a friend staying for a while in Marbella, Costa del Sol, Spain and he's telling me he can only get dailup access. Are there any webmasters on the board who can tell me if high-speed is available there? Names of companies and phone numbers or websites would be appreciated.

Most European places will only allow you to have dialup access unless you are going to be residing there for a few months and have utility bills etc in your name.

A lot of European phone companies used to be really standardized around ISDN. Maybe that was just France Telecom.... It's actually not too bad; much better than cranky old dialup.
Maybe that's available, and us North Americans really have forgotten to ask about it. I Yahooed "imternet service providers spain" and got what looks like some relevent text ad results..... good luck.
