"I have a Website and there were four videos on there - and that's what I was arrested for," Perry told AVN.com. "All of the girls were of age and they were consenting adults.

"Mostly the videos are boy on girl and girl on girl. It ain't no animal sex or incest or anything weird like that," he added.

"I'm going to leave them up there. They've had my stuff for the last few weeks reviewing it. A lot of my tapes and CDs and stuff like that they've had for five or six weeks," Perry said. "I'm not taking it down though; I've not done anything wrong."

Perry said he never intended to sell the videos. "The videos are in the members section of the site and if you want to join you can watch the videos, but I don't sell them," he said.

Perry, 57, has run Club Outer Limits for the last two years, converting his restaurant into a strip club after a divorce.

Preliminary hearings in Perry's case will be held on March 29.

i don't know if this is still true, but in 1996 it was illegal to make or even buy pornography in 14 states. that might have been one of them - i know tennessee and kentucky were on that list, and i think alabama was.

i guess i'm not finding this stuff funny - it's really frightening to me on two levels:

1. on a personal level, because i work with adult material.

2. because the u.s. constitutions is about certain freedoms. even if it hasn't always worked out, i'm sad to see restrictions placed against people - negating that the u.s. is about freedom :-(

i believe porn is and has been illegal in these states:

Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Utah, West Virginia, Wyoming

you know what amazes me? that people who are going to do porn shoots don't talk to a lawyer first - or at least look up the links you just found. it would be cheaper and less stressful than going to jail because you live in a state that doesn't allow porn production in some way.

Bass you are so right on the money! This is all too common. I am still amazed at the shear number of people in this business that haven't spoken to a lawyer.

One of our own lawyers, who used to solicit companies in the adult industry, has told me how many adult companies believe they do not need a lawyer to do this business. She says the same thing... try to, at least, look it up before you do it!

Now, I would have thought running a business, alone, would warrant speaking to a lawyer at one point or another. And in THIS industry? The idea not to have contact with someone, or some information, is amazing to me.
