How often do you think paysites should have their splash pages updated to keep them fresh? The reality style tours make it easy to update the content sections with the latest and greatest, but how often should paysites undergo a complete reno?

There has to be some movement in the front end i think once every week or so. That doesn't mean a complete overhaul, just something that looks changed and a bit dynamic.
I like the way badpuppy rotates their index page all the time. But you also have other sites like bedfe.... that have never changed their front end still seem to be chugging along.
If it aint broken... Dont fix it ;)
As long as a tour is still converting for the sponsor, they really shouldnt have any need to change things.
I have known sponsors in the past that have updated their tours at the request of their affiliates only to be told a couple of days later that they were shaving, the simple fact of the matter was that what the affiliate thought needed doing to improve ratios, actually made the site sell worse than it was doing LOL
Sites dont have to be pretty or updated regularly to sell, unfortunately, most webmasters simply dont understand this concept.
