How exactly does it work?
In all honesty ive never had to use it before but i'm in the middle selling a high priced domain at the moment and the buyer wants to use the escrow service for payment.
From what i gather, the buyer sends them the money and, once he tells them everything is okay with the sale, they release that money to me (minus a fee) is that pretty much all there is to the service?

Last time I used it, it was really painless... you set up the escrow, wait for the buyer to put the $ up, then escrow sends you notice, you transfer the domain, the buyer confirms they have control, escrow company sends you $.
that's pretty much it... just be really careful that the service you use is real, there are a TON of fake escrow websites out there... if you go through one used by a major domain reseller (afternic or one of those) you should be fine.
