Another British born friend of mine swears by Choccie Digestives. I still haven't found any for sale in specialty shops or import candy/cookies around here. They can be purchased online, but was hoping to just find them on a shelf locally.

Digestives are okay but chocolate hob nobs are WAY better.

Mmmm, me simply LOVES Bernard Callebaut's chocolat blanc - made fresh, daily and not TOO sweet. Now the evil part ... they are 1-block away. Oh, and they (actually he) just so happen to have a location along the route to me Ma's & Pa's pad (no, I do not go THAT far out of my way to get a bag O' buds).

P.S. McVities Hobnobs are awesome, but me likes the plain ones, the mostest!
