Sites like http://usenet.com/ are now offering many exclusive videos from most of our sites, do we see a day when the videos will all be encoded to stop this and other people using them like this. Personally I would think most of us would have been on top of this before now, I can see nothing worse for content provides than a deviation of their products :ill:
This has only been happening for, oh, 10+ years.
I had a conversation with Bill at Badpuppy about it just last week at Phoenix Forum. Usenet continues to produce sales for those who know how to use it, and Badpuppy makes extensive use of Usenet as a way of distributing free content. They track it and it continues to produce signups for them.

If you own exclusive custom content, you might want to contact P2PAds - I think they do campaigns for content owners & studios that puts out clips using commonly searched for keywords relating to their content. It floods the p2p networks with short, small clips that automatically pop up a window their paysite instead of the user finding pirated, full versions of the content found only in members area.
has anyone used them? They seem to have a fair amount of clients, and Ive heard good things about them.
