wordpress. it's free, it's very easy to use. and there are lots of skins and other stuff for it.

I'm having umm around 5 blogs with serendipity and I really love them. For some reasons their script really helps my SE ranking :)

WordPress is definately the way to go IMHO.
It has loads of additional 'add-ins' and its really easy to install which is always a nice plus :)
