If you plan to watch Thursday night’s airing of the voter-determined MTV Movie Awards, then stop reading right now, because the biggest award of the night, the “Best Kiss,” was a doozy. Justin Timberlake presented the award to “the fellas,” Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger, for their enthusiastic smooching in Brokeback Mountain. Though Ledger was not in attendance, Gyllenhaal accepted the award, saying, “This is a real honor, not just for me and Heath but for all of you, that you picked this movie and this kiss over all the other ones.” We’re taping the episode and sending a copy to homophobe in chief George W. Bush.

Now that's pretty interesting, I have to say. Bold that the "MTV generation" chose Brokeback's kiss as the best. Too bad Justin and Jake didn't "reenact" the kiss, huh? THAT I'd fuckin' pay to see! LOL! :)

Hell yeah, I'd be in line with you to watch that kiss. Those are two nice looking hotties I wouldn't mind watch swap some spit (among other things).

I wasn't planning on watching the MTV Movie awards this year, they are usually pretty silly, but now I might have to Tivo it and jump to that part of the show at teh very least! Thanks for the heads up! And to your other point, I think its not the MTV generation that has a problem with guy/guy kissing so much, but more like the 60 Minutes/Murder She Wrote/Lawrence Welk generation that has a problem with it!
