Anything Other Than Excell To Collate Data?

I was just wondering if you folks were using anything other than Excell to collate all of the data you gather from your surfers/members?

Right now, i have several files that im finding myself switching between every few minutes and i was kind of hoping of finding an application that would allow me to view more information quicker than Excell currently does as it seems to be slowing down dramatically every few days when i update the new member info manually (i guess because there is so much of it?).

Was just curious to find out if you folks were using anything special to collate and plot out your data or if you were finding Excell to be suitable?

have you tried open office? it's open sourceware and i find the spreadsheet program a little more, but it's still a bit of a resource hog.
