i felt a little funny about this because so many of my good friends can't marry but i decided that i wanted to share our happiness with people i care about - and that means a lot of people here.
after 7 1/2 years together, arie and i decided to get married. we're doing it this thursday because this week is his vacation. i'm not taking time off - in fact, we're doing a shoot today and might do one this weekend. but we are going to spend some quiet together time on friday.

A very big congratulations to you Patti on your happy news. And dont let the fact that others can't marry detract from your happiness on your special day. Afterall, you dont feel guilty making money just because there are poor people in the world.
But after only 7-1/2 years?? Are you rushing into it?? hehehe

of course, here in the uk gay people can marry (well sort of anyway). im sure the usa will follow suit, after all, all men (and women!) are created equally by usa law. Just need a less closseted, blatantly gay but desperate to hide it president...
Like any of us would begrudge you the happiness of joining with your soulmate! This totally rocks and you can bet I'll be there in spirit!
