Anyone Know How Often Whois Info Updates?

WHOIS data is supplied by the registrars directly, there is no centralized shared registry as there is for DNS information.

In theory, the registrars are supposed to update nightly, but Network Solutions told me some time ago that their own database was sometimes as much as 3-5 days behind. I am pretty sure that Enom, who we use, is near real-time; every time I've checked, it's always been updated on WHOIS as soon as I change info... but my guess is that you'll see a different standard from every registrar.
