Noticing A New Trend...

A year or two back, it was very hard to find a content provider or designer that also ran their own paysites / affiliate programs yet now, it seems that more and more designers and providers are starting their own programs and sites, do you think this is just a natural progression in the development of those businesses or, do you think it is getting hard to find content and design clients these days so those types of company are trying to expand their reach and ultimately, their profit margins?

What are your thoughts on this? Also, have you promote any site or program launched by a provider or designer and, if so, how well did you like the results?

Same thing happened in straight and it seems that 90% of the time someone skilled in content production just cant get a handle on the traffic/running a program side of things
