I was just thinking of the differences in traffic generation between adult and non adult sites... and we have some pretty unique tools specific to our industry... Which prompted the question,
what are the non adult market traffic equivalents of TGP/MGP,
AVS, Top List, CJ etc?
You know, toplists for non-adult are out there but, they seem to be primarily used by (flash) gaming sites.
As for the other types of traffic we have in adult, the only kind that really seems prevallent is the directory and even then, the traffic being delivered from them, in my experience, isnt anywhere near the levels in the adult industry.
Its also worth noting that paid traffic in the mainstream tends to be on a CPM basis (cost per thousand impressions) and that business model never really took off with 'porn' for some reason.
