Categorizing DVD Content.. How?

So ive just received an order of another 30 DVDs that im about to start splitting in to scenes and categorizing in to niches but, i was wondering if there was a better way of doing that what im doing right now..

As it currently stands, im splitting the movies in to full scenes then, watching about 50% of each scene (part at the beginning and part of the end) and putting the scene in to niches based on what i see and, im wondering if anyone is doing something different when it comes to niching out your DVD/Movie content purchases?

One thing that i have found, is that the niches a lot of movie providers say the movies contain are next to useless because they simply dont understand (it would appear) anything about the gay market place.

So, is the method im currently using the same as you or are you doing it differently to me?
