Just wondered what people think of "rape" sites. I stumbled across one and thought it was pretty sick, but then i read their business page which sort of made sense to me. It was basicly saying that no one actually gets forced to do anything, its just role play. Not sure i aproove still but wanted to know what everyone else though.
I submit that depicting sex combined with sadistic violence and cruelty is not entertainment, but I'd exclude fetishes like BDSM because they're clearly consensual and not illegal.Quote:

Is it protected by the first amendment? Most likely yes. But I wouldn't want to be the one footing the bill for the fight to defend that right.
But then there comes the same philosophical question (at least for me) about the sort of message we are sending by producing something like that. Of course the same can be said for any violence in mainstream media, for barebacking, for adult content with models that look underage, or for most anything else that is not in the best interests of the public at large.

Im not sure how i feel to be honest, do they have a right to have those fantasies and view/publish porn based on them, if no one actually gets hurt.
To me it bizarre and un-natural to want to view that and i wonder what their child hoods were like but then to straight people what i publish is probably bizarre and un-natural. doesnt make it wrong.
So their is no real limitations on us from the law other than the 18 thing in the US? I think full out rape might be a bit much for me but I could surly dance on that line. Its just everyone holds back so much in films, videos, and even pics, is their a real reason for this? I understand some want to be “artist’s” and some really like bland solo/suck/fuck content, but I just want to make PORN sites. Are people so conservative with gay content because of a real rule/rules, just fear of the unknown, ability to get models to do/look/act like what they need, or just a flat out inability to see more to do with content, as in taking it from a 2-3 and bring it up to a 7-8.

My understanding is that it's an issue of piling one controversial thing on top of another.
In other words, in front of a typical jury, depicting gay sex might be risky enough as far as the Miller test goes. Add to that gay sex + rape or violence or gay sex + scat or something and you're almost certain that a typical jury will find that it fails the Miller test.
So most attorneys advise staying a little more conservative as far as what gay content you produce.
I see what you mean, i was kind of curious about the "is it right" question though.

Arguments can be made for lot of porn out there
bareback = bug chacers, BDSM=sadists, absers etc., gonzo = women abuse and so on.
If I remember correctly Extreme Associates filmed rape scenes and the courts said it was First Amendment

Regarding the sites and kind of content discussed in this thread I wouldn't feel comfortable creating it, so I wouldn't, as I don't believe perpetuating violence and abuse through fantasy created for sexual stimulation is a good thing for individuals, or society. $0.02
