So ive been checking out a few sponsors that im looking at promoting over the past couple of days and was wondering what 'high conversion ratios' were?
1:1000
1:600
1:200
1:??
When you see that, what do you think of as a 'high conversion ratio'?

For me, when it comes to sponsors the most important thing is that I get signups at all. I usually put several free and AVN sites that advertise a particular sponsor, and if that fails to generate at least one signup, i move on.
Having said that, my most susccessful sponsor might not have a stellar ratio (on a yearly level it's around 1:2000), but it DOES convert, it produces signups and brings me the MONEY. And that's what this is all about.
There are sponsors out there that say their ratio is 1:180, but my ratio with them, with the same traffic and same marketing strategy, is 1:7000.
Incidentally, nearly all these sponsors were doing MUCH better for me before they switched to NATS...
The most important ratio is dollars:traffic ... $:RAWS

To me, a high conversion ratio is anything better than 1:200 uniques. To a sponsor, a high conversion ratio is what every site in its program has ;)
I've had sponsor that convert as as high 1:30. I'm even quoted on MenAtPlay's website. Lol.

my highest on google adwords 1:62
my regular ratio for my best gallery sponsor 1:212
overall for regular gallery sponsors 1:400ish
overall for my 404 page sponsors 1:800 - 1:1200
then there's sponsors like topbucks that don't count your first page hits. unless you count your outgoing hits, how can you even figure second page sponsor ratios in with first page sponsor ratios?
at the end of the day i care about how much money i make, not how many sales. if i sent 10,000 surfers to a site and make 10 sales but the 10 sales make a total of 80 rebills, each at $12, i'm pretty happy even though that site had a sales ratio of 1:1000.
the thing with ratios is that until you make loads of sales with that site, the ratios will change quite a bit. you need alot of sales to get a stable ratio.
1:200 or better is high to me. 1:50 is amazing which is what i get with intense cash.
i also think ratios are more imortant with pps as with partnerships you need to figure in rebills, so as previously said, partnerships are more about $$'s than ratios.
