GWW Community - What To Post And Where To Post It

Okay, after several good replies in the thread i started last weekend about curbing the amount of spam and announcements being made on the general forum i wanted to take a moment to let everyone know about the various sections of the GWW Community available to them, and more importantly, what should be posted where on the GWW Community.

Mainstream Marketing Forum.

As the name would suggest, this is where you can post any topic of discussion that doesnt relate to the adult industry, but does relate to online internet business related issues, looking for a non-adult program that sells ezines for example. This would be the part of the GWW Community where you would post such a request for links or further information.

Gay Webmaster Fun.

As the name suggests, this is the section of the GWW Community where pretty much anything goes, want to post funny pictures? Jokes? Games? Movie clips? Self pics? If so, this is the section where you can do that and feel secure in the knowledge that your post/thread isnt going to be moderated, unless it contains blatently offensive, disruptive, or illegal material.

Gay Adult Content Forum.

This is the area on the GWW Community where you should post your requests for content, looking for an exclusive content producer? Post in this area of the community, looking for providers that sell content featuring transsexual midgets? This is where you would also post about that, wanting to buy story content, again this is the forum where you should post. Also, content providers have a certain amount of leeway when it comes to posting about updates on their sites, if you update monthly, a single thread each month letting our other community members know you have updated your store will be fine however, you should also post your update thread on the announcements and spam section of the GWW Community (see below).

Tech / Hosting Forum.

This is the area on the GWW Community where you should post your requests for hosting or technical advice, looking for dedicated host? Post in this area of the community, looking for help with .htaccess or ssi? This is where you would also post about that, wanting help with finding a certain type of script? Again this is the forum where you should post. Also, hosting companies have a certain amount of room when it comes to posting about special deals or offers they may be running, a single thread each month letting our other community members know your latest hosting deals is fine however, you should also post your update thread on the announcements and spam section of the GWW Community (see below) and make sure that you are offering discounts or deals.

Graphics Design Forum.

This is the area on the GWW Community where you should post your requests for design work and designers, looking for a banner designer? Post in this area of the community, looking for individuals that can design a TGP or a blog? This is where you would also post about that Also, web designers have a certain amount of leeway when it comes to posting about updates on their design portfolios, if you update monthly, a single thread each month letting our other community members know you have updated your site will be fine however, you should also post your update thread on the announcements and spam section of the GWW Community (see below).

Gay Market Traffic Forum.

Based on some of the posts over the past few weeks, it is clear that a lot of our community members dont know this section of the GWW Community exists, this is the area of the community where you can post for traffic trades, between blogs, tgps, link lists, free sites, banner swaps, etc, etc. This is also the section of the GWW Community where you can talk about methods of growing your existing site traffic thru to requesting partner accounts.

If your thread or question relates to 'traffic' or 'traffic generation' then this is the area of the GWW Community where your thread should be posted.

Condom Cash Support Forum.

As the name suggests, this is the area of the GWW Community where you can post questions about the Condom Cash affiliate program, need to know more about payouts? Want to request custom promo tools? Have suggestions on how we can improve the program? This is the area of the GWW Community where you can post your threads relating to the program and get the answers you want.

Announcements + Spam Forum.

This is the section of the GWW Community where you should post any news and announcements you may have about your sites, programs, products or services. Running a contest? Post about it in this section of the community, raising affiliate payouts? Again, this is the area of the GWW Community where you can let us all know about them. If a post you make in this area of the GWW Community really is important, it will be moved across to the general discussion board (see below).

Gay Adult Industry Forum.

This area of the GWW Community is where you can post about topics that dont fit in any other sub forum. Want to introduce yourself to our other community members? Looking for a new payment processor? Want to know what sites are converting well? Have an interesting news article you want to share? Then this is the section of the GWW Community where you can post all of those types of threads.

If you have any questions, comments, or think that something else should be mentioned in addition to the above please post in this thread and let your voice be heard.

Over the coming months there will be a few small changes made to the GWW Community overall, and ensuring that we all post in the appropriate sections of the community will not only ensure that we keep GWW the premier destination for marketers with gay traffic, and one of the top boards in the adult industry, but also that you folks get the answers and information you need in a timely manner to help you grow your businesses.
