I dont recall having done one of these in the past on GWW but i figure it could be a good way to give back to the community overall in addition to help build individual 1-on-1 relationships :)
The thing is, if you folks would like to set a GWW Secret Santa up, we'd need to get a list of people wanting to join in sometime by the 1st week in December to make sure everyone's presents get to them in time.

yes, i suppose. the reason i don't generally take part in this kind of thing is i hate disappointing someone by sending something where its only value to them is to regift it, though. people all have SUCH different tastes...

I think the idea of a wish list is good and bad - good because it's something you want. Bad because it takes the surprise out of it.
Or... If people who work and own a mainstream company and what to get you something you didn't think of but would find cool as hell. That would be out of the question because it doesn't make the list. Amazon just doesn't sell them.
