If Gays Went on Strike ... Don't know what time it airs, but might want to make a note to catch it on A&E on Monday the 11th.
My first thought was -- that shuts down the military, education and medical services as far as the United States goes!

Dang too bad I cancelled the TV; that might be worth watching.
Lets all call in gay for work... lol
OH! Let's post our own punchlines for "If gays went on strike..."
... you wouldn't be able to get your hair styled.
... there would be no employees to help you in the Men's Department at Barneys, Saks, Nordstoms or Nieman Marcus.
... you'd have to decorate your own home!
It's a great promo for a TV show produced by A&E called "Wedding Wars"
.... there would be a lot more models looking for casual work
Half the Republican party would be defunct. ;)
C'mon, there are lots of closeted homos in the party. ::cough:: Mehlman ::cough::
If gays went on strike...where would we get all our "Straight Boy" models for our "Straight Boy" sites.
that would be...ahh never mind...i wish i could watch it...:gossip:
it would be nice just to see what the "number's" would be , but i would like those working in "medical" to remain "on the job" and register for the strike by "ballot"
this probably won't happen , they can barely "organize" a "white-party!" , but something i'd like to see.
sincerely ~ ..."you'll never walk alone"...
When I first saw the spot - I thought, well at least two people per big business would be missing for that day.
As a business, this would equal 2 people calling out sick. The average is 5 or 6 a day. (At least it was when I worked in the command center of a top 100)
If all gays did go on strike, the impact would only be seen if they, we, gathered in one location to show our numbers. Think Million Man March.
As for the A&E movie...
The idea behind the strike is Gay marriage. Now the show puts the "gays" in job titles of Hair Dresser, Forests and Wedding planners.
I'm a bit turned off by the Hollywood depiction of gays on film but have tevo set to record.

Bump because i just saw the commercial for this on TV LOL
Its coming on A+E in about 10 minutes (9pm EST).
Regards,
Lee
Entertainment Weekly reviewed it and gave it a B+. That's a pretty good grade. I'm TiVO'ing it as well. I tried to interview John Stamos for one of the mags I write for, but another writer had already beaten me to it.
