Size isn't as important to me as shape. They're better (for me personally) if they're straight and just as thick at the top as they are at the bottom. I've seen bizarre ones that are thick at the bottom, thin at the top and bend forward or off to the side....can't say that appeals to me that much, but it should also be pointed out that if it's connected to a cool guy who's a heck of a lot of fun to get naked with, it doesn't really matter that much.
