What's Your Daily Contact

To all you Webmasters out there, I want to know what your daily contact is like with your sponsor programs?
Do you converse with them once, twice, or three times a day? Or is it a weekly affair?

Also, what is your most common and/or prefer method of communication?
Phone?
IM?
Emails?

Do you only talk to them when you find a problem, or when you need something? Do you contact them to "chat" or just business related topics?

Inquiring minds want to know...

most of the sponsors I use, I only contact when I got problems, but I got a few where I talk about everything with, so those I talk both about everything with both business and normal chat about everything that goes on in my and his/hers life :)

I would have to say I use IM more than anything. It just makes it so much easier. If a problem does occur I usually like to chat over the phone so there is no delay and you have the persons undivided attention. :sunny:

I'd love to hear more often from our affiliates, even just to chat. But rarely occurs. . .

But I will say that I love the contact I have with our Reps, and have learned that I would rather promote programs with folks who are accessable, by IM and phone. With 2+ years in the biz, our network of Friendly Partners is a nice mix of honest ppl who have proven their character and make it so easy to do business with. It does help that we've met near everyone on the gay side ;)

I mean come on ... how could you NOT want to say hi to Eddie, The 2 Mikes, Lee or any the rest of you nuts on ICQ - we've hugged!

Brightens my day to do a lil drive by love!

I rarely contact my sponsors, usually for a problem, suggestion, or a compliment on something good! I usually use email...some sponsors (ugh!) NEVER get back to me.

Same with us - I only get contacted when someone's not sure how to contruct a link, or their cheque's gone missing, but other than that you affiliates are a quiet bunch (or prefer to spend your time bitching on chat forums!) :square:
