Royal Canin, a premium maker of pet food, today announced they are voluntarily recalling all of their foods made with rice protein. Apparently the same supplier responsible for the contaminated wheat gluten has now been found, or at least suspected, of adding melamine to their rice protein as well.
Royal Canin said it was a precautionary move and did not affect all of their foods, but some pet foods, both cat and dog, were affected.
