Right now i think we'd all agree that 50/50 seems to be the most 'common' form of revshare payouts by programs running on CCBill and Epoch however, why do you think this is the case?
I have to admit, i havent seen many 60/40 or 70/30 programs in the past few years.
Do you think it is a case of program owners not realizing they can use these types of payouts to attract affiliates or do you think affiliates only want the 50/50 deals these days?
Your thoughts?

I suspect that program owners do not think the extra 10 or 20% in expense per affiliate sale or renewal will bring greater net revenue from affiliate marketing activities.

After all we have to make more content to give to affiliate.
But if there was a few out there that could show a large rate of sign ups. Then I would consider giving a higher rate of rev pay out.

IMHO scenario #2 should be paid more than #1.
However, lets look at this from a program owners standpoint, as you have already said WE have to create/purchase more content to keep that surfer rebilling, why should we also have to pay the affiliate for doing nothing for the rebills?
I mean, they sent the surfer to the tour, we did our job in converting the surfer, we're doing our job by retaining the surfer, im not really seeing anything 'fair' from this viewpoint, are you?

And I dont think that you should get more for that. You sent them to us once and its the website that is holding them to rebill. You are not doing anything to keep that member there. but you are making 50% every month on it.

IT sound like you think that you send the member and you get payed once and thats it.
We were told that most all give revshare on rebills.
Is that not the case?
