WTF! Spam Controle?

Ok, I'm having monday mood swings. WTF is up with these spam controle companies spamming you to death with their stuff??

Isn't that like the pot calling the kettle black? I wish these freaks would relize that just because I have an email address that doesn't mean I want their CRAP emailed to me.

(now that I'm done venting, lol I'm off to finish up the new project we're releasing next week. ;) )

I decided I wasn't going to turn email on for long this weekend. And in fact I didn't. So this morning I had over 1500 emails that were entirely spam. This doesn't include the emails that my filters caught or legit stuff.

So I'm with you! Let's swing together on this one!

Whats really annoying is that most of these damn spam emails all 'conform to the can spam act' yet non of the fucking things have REAL return addresses :(

Ok, so I'm still getting emails from this company offering me their spam controle. Ya know, I'm sick of these people sending things to any and everyone that and everyone always blames the adult sites for it. I want to know where they found my email and why they felt I want their stuff.

So I emailed the companies IPS, and the person that shows up on the whois info.

PLEASE STOP SPAMMING ME! How many times does someone need to opt out? I have received emails from you 3 times this week. Which is agents the can spam act you post everywhere.

Then 1 day later, I get 2 more emails from the same company offering the same thing. (Like they only have one product or something.)

So, being the moody b*tch I have been lately. I email them back:

And ANOTHER ONE….? You have violated the Can Spam Act 3 times this week with just me and my email address.

How many other people have you violated? Everyone on your list I would imagine. It says that you must use an email that works for your site, you do not send emails to the same person more then 10 days after you send one out to that email address. Yet, I have received 3 of them from you already this week. All from non working email addresses.
