Do You Still Use Traditional Link Exchanges On Your Sites?

I mean sites other than script driven ones like blogs too.

When you build a hub site, free site, avs, whatever, do you still contact people you know and ask for link exchanges or do you tend to stick to standard 'recip' type deals at places you submit your sites too?

Im just curious as i actually got asked for a traditional link exchange earlier by someone and i havent had a request to do that in years :eek:
