What Makes A Good Pay Per Click Landing Page?

If you were to start promoting an affiliate program that paid on a PPC basis, what type of thing would you like to see on the landing/tour page for the sites being promoted?

Have any of you folks actually promoted PPC programs before in the adult industry, if so, which ones did you use?

Same sorts of things I promote now....niche membership sites, porn videos. I'd consider anything gay related or porn related.

I've never sent traffic to a PPC program.

Tried one early on for a porn site and didn't do well with it at all. Have a site using that google adsense and amazon stuff, but it doesn't seem to be a real winner either ... I'm guessing to make any real money with those you have to be producing volumes of sites.
