I was wondering as affiliates, what type of tours are you more inclined to promote, those that have a professional design style to them or those that look amateurish in style?
Have you found one type to convert better than another or do you think that the style of the tour isnt as important as the niche content being used?

Well, the more professional a design looks, the more I wonder if it really keeps its promises. Those nice, sophisticated tours you can find all over the net nowadays and which all look the same, only with different pictures quite likely wouldn't tempt me to pull out my credit card. If I would decide just by the looks I prefer sites with unique, yet professional looking designs. But most of all the content is the decision maker for me. The more I know what exactly awaits me inside, the more likely it is that I will spend my money on a site.
And from what I see in my sales my personal taste quite meets the taste of the visitors of my site. For me the best reselling sites are those that have unique designs and offer a good amount of previews of their material. Sites with just tours and no information about updates and new models are way down at the bottom. I usually just keep promoting them to make the best selling sites more outstanding.
If the paysite is on the microniche side, I prefer a tour that looks more personal and less professional. It give the impression that the site owner really is into the microniche and knows his stuff!
