DEVELISH
i havent seen it yet but i will now
I've heard from a lot of Old School Simpsons fans that the humor has changed too much over the years and it's not very funny.
But lets not forget, most old school Simpsons fans are like Comic Book Guy ;)

Saw it, loved it, and will see it again! I was fortunate enough to see it at one of the great old theaters here in L.A. it couldn't have been more perfect! :high:
Someone told me it was just like the TV show only longer and that it wasn't that great. First of all, it was nothing like the TV show because the settings were very third dimensional, you really felt like you were running around Springfield at times. Very much worth seeing in the theater. There was just enough of the things you can't do or say on TV that it added to the humor without becoming obtrusive, and the plot did carry over to a full 90 minutes without slowing down. So, it taught me a good lesson about listening to what "those people" say. Next time someone says to me "people say..." I'm going to reply with "what people". I wonder if the people who said it was just like the tv show even saw it.
You sound like me DonMike. heh heh
I don't go by what other folks say either. If there's somethin' out I wanna see, I'll go see it and decide if it's good or not for myself. The saying is true: "Everyone's a critic." Some people just decide to get paid for their opinion.
I saw it and I loved it, but it has changed since it started. As first Homer was like an everyman kind of oaf and over the years he's become a complete idiot
