Is There Anyway To Legally Download Movies?

I just hooked up my old laptop to the widescreen in the TV room and im wanting to test it out with some AVI files later.

Anyone know of a place where i can actually download and keep Hollywood movies online thats legal so i can start building up my collection?

Im going to start encoding the 200+ DVDs we have right now tomorrow and transferring them in to digital files to play on this laptop :0)

Of course! go to www.itunes.com that's what it is all about. Downloading music and movies.

Oh i totally forgot iTunes had movies ive only ever used it to get songs/albums LOL

Check out vuze.com They mostly have stuff from BBC there now. But it's a nice site.

Vongo.com is another one. It's owned by the people who own Starz or one of the pay movie channels.

I *think* the videos are unencoded but not sure.

in South America you find any movie on the sidewalk the next day.
