Disney Bans new Michael Moore Film
Apparently, the film makes connections between the "President" and terrorist organizations as well as the Bin Ladin family. Disney blocked the film from release because they were afraid they'd lose tax breaks given to them by Jeb Bush or something. Makes you wonder how we're supposed to convince the rest of the world we're trying to bring about freedom in Iraq when we've got such bizarre censorship here.

Well it's not our government that putting the ban into place, it's a corporation. I'm adamantly against this as well, but what companies decide to do can't be reflected on our government or international politics.

OK, but the reason for the ban is that a corporation is afraid of reprisals from the government, so really, although it's not necessarily the government doing it, free speech is still being stopped.
