I just tried to book my room at the Rennisance (spelling?) host hotel for the GayVN and was told that no rooms are availiable on those dates. Does anyone know of a nearby nice hotel...that I can look into? Thanks.

If I remember correctly, there is a small street literally in the shadow of the host hotel that go for about $40 or $50 a night. They are not online and there is no room service, but if you want a super cheap bed and shower those are a possibility. Mr. Sexy Jasun [with a U] could probably get you a phone number.
there are hotels all over the place here. why not go to smartpages.com and look up hotels in 90046.

Thanks...now that I know where the hotel is, I can find something. I will be in LA the few days before the show, so I will just drive around and find something...hopefully the host hotel will have some rooms open up. I dont want to slum it. I know of a nice Holiday Inn Express a few blocks away...so no matter what I should be fine.
sorry guys - I guess that we could have kept our place alive and plugged in for a few more weeks - oh well...
there is lots of cheap stuff over in that area - lots and lots of small motels on the strip and sm blvd and in the general hollywood area
traffic around there IS a total bitch though -
